The style of this poster is very unique due to the dark shades of green with red, a graphic design you don’t find in posters of that time. This movie features two of the most popular Golden Age of Mexican Cinema singing actors, Pedro Infante and Luis Aguilar, together for the last time. This great poster is the ideal image of the Mexican charro. All icons are present: the guitar, tequila, sombrero, cowboy clothes and playing cards.

Poster designed & created by Ernesto Garcia Cabral (El Chango), the most famous poster artist of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. El Fanfarron is one of the most iconic Mexican film posters. It features a bold image, contrasting bold colors. This risque graphic image is one of Maria Felix's most striking posters. By the mid 1940’s, Felix was the highest paid actor in the world.

Pedro Armendariz is one of the greats of Mexican cinema. Armendariz was a natural actor who left a great legacy in the Mexican cinema. This was Jorge Negrete 25th film. By 1946, he was the most famous “charro” - Mexican singing cowboy.
